Can't hardly wait!

I am sitting here in the pedicure chair trying to de-stress and take my mind off of the long few hours I have ahead of me! I went into my doctor yesterday for a regular appointment and with the routein urine sample they found a +1 level of protein. That meant that I may be getting preeclampsia again like with Elena. They took my blood pressure and it was a little elevated so they sent me down to labor and delivery to take some more tests! I was a little nervous because I just wasn't prepared to have the baby right then! They said it was a possibility but that they wanted to monitor the baby and do some bloodwork along with some cereal blood pressure readings. After several hours hooked up to all the monitors etc, they decided to send me home with a 24 hour urine test. I turned in the test around noon today and am attempting to patiently wait for the results. The nurse told me if the test comes back positive again with protein that they will induce me!!! I am freaking out a little bit. Part of me really wants to have the baby today since I am miserably pregnant, and i would be back home from the hospital with my baby in time to possibly enjoy some of christmas! The other part of me worries about the health of the baby being 3 weeks early. I just want him to be healthy and safe. I am so excited to meet this little guy! I don't think I have written before about his name. We have decided to name him Lincoln Michael Muir. I officially love the name, and feel like it is the perfect fit. Mike loves it too! He really picked it out actually. It has always been his first pick. :) I love that he really had an opinion with his son's name. The phone call from my doctors office couldn't come soon enough! Waiting to hear wether they want me to come in to be induced tonight is painful. I just need to know! We shall see! Stay tuned! Xoxo Laura
