We are proud to announce the hatching of our new baby chicks!
Yes.... You heard right. Chicks.
We are raising chicks, and I couldn't be more excited about it! Our little girls arrived on Tuesday the 18th, and were all healthy and happy.
They are the fluffiest, most adorable little things. Elena and I are smitten.
These chicks are ours, and my Aunt Diane's. We are raising them together even thought they will live in our yard. They will lay all different colors of eggs. They are all supposed to be very docile, happy birds with great temperaments! It is so fun to watch them and snuggle with them! They are growing every day, faster than you would believe!
We have had fun naming them, and playing with them every day. At the moment, we are building the cutest chicken coop in the back yard for their home. It is to die for!!!
Here is a photo of the plans for the chicken coop. We have made a few changes, but this is the basic idea! Cute huh?
