Hooray for Preschool!

Here are a few pics from Elena's first two days of preschool at Children's Discovery! She absolutely loves every minute she has at that place! I have also loved having a little adult time three days a week! I have been going over to my Dad's house to meet him for a walk after dropping her off in the morning to get my exercise in. It has been such a fun experience. I have relished every moment of the early fall weather, and the quality time with my daddy-o. It has been pretty darn therapeutic to have a good chat with my dad so often. He truly is a great guy.

Elena is such a social butterfly. She is so immersed in playing with her new friends in her class, and participating in the activities. Every day when I pick her up from school, she immediately wants to empty out her bag and show me her art. She is always so proud of her creations, and loves to tell me every detail of the goings ons at school. I get to hear all about her friends, and what she did on the playground. What they had for a snack that day. What songs she is learning. Everything. I am loving it!

So all I can say is...... Hooray for preschool!!!!

Here is Elena and Grandma Munnerlyn at "Grandma's Preschool" in the words of Laney.

She has been practicing her *wink* (Daddy taught her that one. So cute!)

I love this photo. Elena is on the front porch of Grandma Jeanne's house swinging on the swing my Dad made with his two hands! I soooo wish I had one of his swings. It is so cool. I have so so many memories on this very spot. It is great to see my own baby girl enjoying some of the same places I have all growing up. :)
